in regards to my current display picture on various websites

he noted.. "Of course I'm probably the only one to notice things like this...but in this picture you have some similarities to Queen Nefertari"

and this is my reply:

thanks and adoration be unto you
for finding qualities in me
that point to such a majestic woman
who's beauty and charm
ruled not only The House of Harems which her husband possessed
but political aspects
she too assessed
and "Great of Praise" her name insists
and that is why young men like yourself..
are even able to identify with her essence
some call her "Sweet of Love"
and yes it can be fathomed because
we as black children know first hand that there's no love
able to out weigh the kind produced and distributed by a strong black woman
be she comforting, correcting, or caressing your soul
"Lady of Grace" it has been said that she is also
and her eloquence must have been profound
I mean... "how can a lady who's just a number to a man work her way from the bottom, to the top?"
perhaps she gave birth to a son who's face outshone the sun
thus making her the bearer of upper echelons of gods
or maybe she packed a hearty insight that was able
to smooth over the inciting of riots
and from the pits her grace took her to heights that superseded the ceilings of the great pyramids
that surrounded her
and a Great King’s Wife, his beloved, we already know her as
because through the research I've waded and concepts I had to grasp
in efforts to write this poem
every fact whether forefront or underlying acted as a sealing
to the stamp that her being bore
she was the "Lady of all Lands"
and still is, as far as I am concerned
because someone was able to see her in my me
and I'm pretty sure her reflection is present in other black girls worldwide
I agree with those that have said she was the "Wife of the Strong Bull"
because there's no telling how much shit she had to put up with
but I'm sure she took it in stride
transposing life's ills, turning them into nothing but good fortunes and prosperity
grabbing life by the horns as she took her ride
fearless and daring
and in conjunction with them who say she's "God’s Wife"
even our great creator has probably been moved by her
if not then we'll settle for the fact that he moved mountains in her name
